Operator and service

HARNESS (하네스) is a self-management service provided by 열하나랩스 (representative: 권용현; business registration number: 252-06-03522). Set an activity schedule and daily goal, choose location and time restrictions, and view time recorded in the Android app. Contact the service through the inquiry screen or main phone number 010-7771-9936.

When you use features provided by Google Maps, the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service also apply. Google explains its handling of information in its Privacy Policy. Links to both documents are provided below.

Account use

Use the same account to view projects and saved records in the app and on the web. Use your own account and a payment method you are authorized to use. Paid contracts entered into by minors require their legal representative's consent; contracts without such consent may be canceled under applicable law.

HARNESS Plus subscription

HARNESS Plus is a monthly auto-renewing subscription through Google Play. The final local price and purchase terms appear in Google Play. Subscribers can run up to two concurrent projects. Subscription status is checked against the Google account used for payment and the HARNESS account linked to the purchase, and can be checked again using Restore Subscription in the app.

Project conditions

When registering a project, set its name, activity category (Study, Reading, Exercise, Creative or Other), period, weekdays or dates and daily goal, and choose location and time restrictions. Periods are 1, 2 or 4 weeks; daily goals are 1–480 minutes. Start dates are today through 30 days from today in KST.

If time restrictions are enabled, choose an allowed window at least as long as the daily goal; it may cross midnight. For example, 22:00–02:00 permits 00:00–02:00 and 22:00–24:00 on each selected KST date. Include the next date in the schedule to record on that date. Start and end dates and conditions through today remain unchanged; conditions from tomorrow onward may be edited within the fixed period.

Location checks and the timer

With location restrictions enabled, verified activity within the selected radius (50, 100 or 200 meters) is recorded. Leaving pauses recording, which resumes automatically when place and time conditions are restored. A location gap counts only if both ends are inside the place and it is no longer than five minutes. If longer, or either end cannot be verified, the whole gap is excluded.

Periods involving power-off, force-stop, reboot or clock changes are excluded immediately without applying the five-minute rule. When disconnected, records are kept on the device and sent after reconnection. With location restrictions OFF, you can record manually without location checks.

Automatic recording operates only when allowed for the project, the device's master automatic-recording switch (OFF by default) and project switch are manually enabled, and separate consent to background location processing is given. No additional time is recorded for that date after the daily goal is reached. Only one timer can run per account at a time.

Activity time and daily closing

On each selected KST date, time meeting project conditions is recorded up to the daily goal and closes at midnight. With time restrictions enabled, only time within the allowed window counts; otherwise recording is independent of the window. Time cannot be added by manual entry.

Personal records sent later because of connection delays are handled separately from league scores that have already closed. The display distinguishes device-recognized time from server transmission and confirmation status. Saved records can be viewed on the web.

Canceling subscriptions and ending projects

Cancel subscriptions through Google Play subscription management. After cancellation, access continues for the remaining subscription period. Ending a project ends its timer use while preserving records. Ending a project, uninstalling the app or requesting account deletion does not by itself cancel a Google Play subscription. Purchase cancellation and refunds are handled under Google Play procedures and applicable law.

Support and errors

Report recording errors, service disruptions and payment problems through the inquiry screen or main phone number. The relevant project, incident time and order information are reviewed to explain the handling method and outcome.

Account deletion and personal information

You can request account withdrawal and deletion in account management. After verifying identity and any necessary transactions, the operator explains the processing schedule and outcome. See the Privacy Policy for retained data, statutory retention periods and deletion methods.

Changes and user rights

Important changes to service or subscription terms are announced before application, and existing contract terms are not changed disadvantageously with retroactive effect. Rights to withdrawal, refunds and damages under applicable law are preserved.

League participation and scores

League participation is optional, and explicit consent to disclosed information is obtained before participation. Participants in the same competition group can see your league nickname, selected avatar, representative badge, score and rank. Leaving the league withdraws participation and disclosure consent while preserving personal projects and activity records.

Participation, consent and withdrawal status and score and result history needed for league processing are managed in connection with the account. From the new scoring rule's application date, base points for projects with location restrictions OFF are calculated at 85% of location-verified records, also affecting related bonuses and EXP. Scores from earlier dates are not changed retroactively.
